JAR uses an inclusive, participatory approach to research, fundraising, marketing and evaluation.
This approach seeks to actively include a diversity of voices and experiences, exploring alternative and bespoke ideas that match the needs of our clients. This includes looking locally, but also internationally, for sustainable and innovative solutions.
As much as possible, we follow fair consultation principles, attempting to decrease the burden on those being consulted by keeping surveys/interviews/etc. as brief as possible, compensating people for their time, and incorporating information gathering into existing tools and processes.
As career marketers, we also seek to create impact marketing materials as we go - gathering information in a variety of formats (written, graphic, audio, video), so it can be used to create data-driven reports, presentations, social media posts, marketing materials, award applications, etc. without added time and expense.
